If you compare American Green Inc (OTCMKTS:ERBB) to other stocks in the cannabis sector, and only look at the chart, not at what they make, sell or develop, you will see some concerning signs when combing the sector. If you examine the ERBB chart below you will see a small blip in rising prices, when most other stocks exploded higher and held these gains onward from the election through the first quarter of 2017. This can only mean they had aggressive sellers with free trading stock ready to exit.

We need to also examine some recent news so we know what the company does, and they recently announced that after an almost-2-year long process, the American Green name has been registered and accepted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Registration number 5,539,934 which enables the company the exclusive use of its corporate name when doing business in its retail endeavors. The USPTO approval offers an additional layer of protection for the company in the public domain. As the second oldest publicly-traded cannabis-related company in America, it became critical to protect ‘American Green’ with a mark.

“We knew the words joined together were bold when we decided to change our name, but our goal in this sector is to always maintain a bold vision. Achieving and maintaining brand protection whenever and wherever we are able is our style,” said David Gwyther, American Green Chairman and acting President. “While we understand that the emerging cannabis market is changing rapidly, Job #1 is protecting the American Green brand,” Mr. Gwyther concluded.

American Green Inc (OTCMKTS:ERBB) also attended a recent conference in Las Vegas and announced that its proprietary verified vending system which includes the American Green Machine (AGM) or ‘The Ultimate AGM’ which made its public debut at ‘The One Show’  in Las Vegas, April 19-21. ERBB 10-Day Chart Below:

American Green’s system is unique for three important reasons, all of which were on display in the form of  it’s American Green’s patent-protected process, created to enable the vending of controlled or age-restricted products has been designed to be ‘as good as a human.’

And lastly, to demonstrate the strength and versatility of American Green’s system, there were machines from three manufacturers side by side, something that has not been seen in the relatively new market of smart vending combined with secure purchasing.

The biometric verification portion of the system is utilized by the US military and many large corporations who require top-notch security for identification prior to entering a facility. In addition to all of this, the entire system can be accessed via an app which allows remote purchasing in participating machines. Upon arrival at the physical machine, patrons login to their account, verify with the biometric control, and simply display the QR code on their smartphone to retrieve the product or products they purchased.

“American Green and our technology partner, PanPacific, have been working non-stop to improve this process for over four years now. The adoption of smart phones, familiarity with apps on those phones, and improvement in related vending technologies have now merged with a concept that the public could easily grasp before but are much more prepared to use now,” said David Gwyther, chairman and acting president at American Green. “Creating a process that allows flexibility in the machine selected by clients yet permitting verified accounts to login to the machines of any companies who choose to participate will grow adoption faster and simplify use by all parties. A baseball fan could buy a beer at the game in New York and cannabis from a dispensary in California the next day through the same app utilizing their verified account. This is a huge step forward for smart retail and the automated sale of regulated products,” Mr. Gwyther concluded.

Keep in mind my observations are often more technical in nature, looking to match the fundamental movements happening in the sector.

Cannabis is exploding and the 300+ stocks which make up the sector have varying degrees of volatility and price appreciation (but nearly all are in demand) as investors prepare for federal legalization. Everyone associated with cannabis knows we have another important leg coming, and ERBB is blazing it’s own trail as a public company in a niche market for cannabis. For continuing coverage on shares of $ERBB stock, as well as our other hot stock picks, sign up for our free newsletter today and get our next hot stock pick!

  1. American Green (ERBB) is a confidence scam. The company is a complete fraud and the vending machines are a joke. I’m the only one who has ever used the previous version and it was an overcomplicated piece of junk, only to be outdone by the latest version, The American Green Machine. Nobody is going to want to setup an account on a mobile app just to purchase some cannabis from the vending machines. Furthermore, NOBODY is going to allow their sensitive biometric data to be warehoused by this company just to buy cannabis from the vending machines.
