With cannabis taking all the headlines this week, one shouldn’t forget about that other cannabis-related market, CBD, and some of the remarkable opportunities that have been building there – a recent addition being Charlotte’s Web Holdings Inc (OTCMKTS:CWBHF). By some recent estimates, growth in CBD products may even surpass cannabis. CWBHF is a recent addition to the ticker group in the CBD space but may be the most legitimate, with nearly $40M in trailing revs and a top line growing at nearly 40%.
The company just announced that it has surpassed 3000 retail locations across the United States. As noted above, CWBHF just announced that it has surpassed 3000 retail locations across the United States. At the end of 2017, Charlotte’s Web products were sold in approximately 2,000 locations.
The chart shows 16% during the past month in terms of shareholder gains in the company.

Now commanding a market cap of $238M, CWBHF has a significant war chest ($14.2M) of cash on the books, which must be weighed relative to about $9.7M in total current liabilities. One should also note that debt has been growing over recent quarters. CWBHF is pulling in trailing 12-month revenues of $38.8M. In addition, the company is seeing recent top-line growth, with sequential quarterly revenues growing at 34.2%.
